Hollie Rigdon grew up in the northern Georgia foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Her hometown of Ellijay is little known, but Hollie represents the best of her roots. In 2018 she met her now husband, Airman Garret Rigdon, and the pair were soon married that same year. Though both their roots were in Ellijay, fate carried them to San Antonio Texas, where they quickly settled into their new home. They brought along 2 dogs, Tuff and Keelo, and Hollie’s Quarter Horse, Job.
While her family was not horse-inclined, she drug them head first into the crazy world of equine fanatics. She grew up interested in starting colts and barrel racing, competing locally to feed her obsession. Growing up practicing mostly western discipline riding, Hollie offers a new perspective into the world of Warmbloods.
Hollie started working for First Flight in July of 2018, and quickly became an asset to the farm. She has welcomed all our new employees with open arms, and makes every one of us feel at home. In her spare time Hollie spends hours looking for her constantly lost Basset Hound, Tuff, or washing some unknown stink off her other dog Keelo.
